How to anticipate the accidents in the school

- Falls and blows: produced generally by the evil been of the soils, presence of obstacles or an incorrect disposition of the furniture. They are more frequent in the court, gymnasium, corridors or bathroom.

-  Wounds: produced by cutting or sharp objects, or as product at one stroke or fall.

- Chokings: frequent in children and girls of short age, for small objects getting in the mouth.

- Poisonings: for medicines, toxic products, or as consequence of the food ingestion in poor condition

- Stings or bites of animals: this type of accident is in the habit of happening in spaces outdoors and is more frequent when they are realized gone out for the forest.

Accidents more frequent in the school environment

To anticipate accidents in schools and day-care centers Inside the closed enclosures: 
          - not to use polishers for the cleanliness of the soils.
          - to take care that always there is a good lighting in the zones of work and step.
          - the stairs must have the low steps and rail.

 In day-care centers:

 In exteriors:
         - The buildings of the center have to be surrounded by a railing or fence.
         - In the courts, it is necessary to suppress the stones and install zone of sand dedicated to the game for the student body of minor age.
         - He will arrange of a zone of losetas of rubber that muffles the falls. 

THE WORM

Children will put in groups of 4, then they paint their hands with different colours and they put in a piece of paper, then they will do the head of the worm.

 Objectives:

With this activity they develop their fine motor skills, their social skills and creativity.

TREASURE BASKET

Is an educational proposal designed to offer babies an activity of exploration and play; A way of taking advantage of the spontaneous activity of boys and girls for their own benefit.

It consists of a basket full of everyday objects of different materials, sizes, shapes and textures whose purpose is to provide stimulation, development and experience to the five senses of the baby.

We  facilitate you a link with a video in which you can observe different techniques about this experiment.

THE GAME OF HUGS

Today we propose a game with which surely the children will have a good time. We all know the benefits of hugging and being hugged. Wiht this game it is about giving strong hugs for no apparent reason.

MATERIALS:

 - Encourage emotional expression.   
 - Educate for healthy affective development.     
 - Teach the little ones that it is good to express their emotions of affection without fear.

METHODOLOGY:

1º- A poster will be placed in a visible place of class: "They give gifts hugs".
2º- The children are told that: "We are going to celebrate the festival of hugs, do you know what it is? What are hugs? How do hugs happen?
3º- Dynamics of the game: they are going to put music, while it sounds they have to move through the room from side to side, no matter where they go, when the music stops, they will look for a partner and give a hug.
4º- When the music continues again, they say goodbye to the person they are hugging and continue on their way. And the dynamics is repeated, when the music stops.
5º- The game will end when the educator sees that they get tired and close: they will talk about how they feel, what they liked.

        We all know the benefits of hugging and being hugged and with this game it is about giving hugs without any apparent reason. In this way they will be introduced in the samples of affection and in the benefits that they report to us.

THE COLOUR TREE

         For children interculturalism is a very important point. They must know that everybody is equal, it doesn´t matter if one boy is black or a girl is very very small. For that we are going to realise an interesting activity.

        - First of all (the educators) have to draw a tree with brown colour
        - The next step of the activity is the following. 
        - We have to set the children in a circle
        - They have to wait their turn for taking the colour that they are going to use to colour their hand
        - After that children will put their hand on the paper in the tree

      They are going to use different colours, and they will observe that it doesn´t matter if we have the skin with different colours, if we stay together we can make a beautiful project like the tree that we have form.
